Painkillers Lessen Colon Cancer Risk: Study

According to a new research,painkillerslessen the chance of colon cancer.
This breakthrough study has been carried out by the researchers at the National Cancer Institute.
The new research revealed that individuals having a family history of this deadly disease can also derive benefit from painkillers such as aspirin oribuprofen.
Dr. Elizabeth Ruder of the National Cancer Institute, who lead the study, stated, "The (risk) reductions that we saw here are not inconsequential. But we're not at the point that one could make a
public health recommendation."
The novel research evaluated questionnaire facts from more than 300,000 people and how often these people had non-steroidal anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs).
The researchers found that consuming any NSAIDs was associated to an overall 20% lowered chance over 10 years.
Making use of painkillers daily resulted in to a 28% lowered chance of colon cancer, weekly users reported an 11% lowered chance in colon cancer.
