Ajay's reason for not doing Aarakshan

So everyone who was speculating that Ajay Devgan and Prakash Jha had a fall out over Rajneeti can think again. There is a legitimate reason why Ajay didn’t take up the role he was offered in Aarakshan now played by Saif Ali Khan. The role requires the actor to be a college student in the first half and a professor in the second and Ajay felt that he could not pull off the look of a young collegian. Hence he opted out. The actor is enjoying his cop act to the hilt in Singham and is of course happy to be in the company of his favourite director Rohit Shetty. Now Ajay drinks and smokes and Rohit is a teetotaler but still they get along like a house on fire. And of course he misses wife Kajol and kids Nysa and Yug on the sets. Which is why he must have been delighted when Kajol joined him in Goa before they flew off to Delhi together where she received her Padmashree
