Manna Dey, Last Vice of Golden 2013

Manna Dey describes as the "King of Melody", said PM Manmohan Singh today the music world lost one of its most talented of the singer's death from legendary artists.

"I am deeply saddened to learn of the death of the king of melody, Manna Dey. An accomplished singer with a unique voice, which is multi-talented and excelled in Rabindra Sangeet and other forms of popular music," he said in his message sympathy.

Singh said in his death, the music world lost one of its most talented artists. "Dey legacy will, however, live through the many songs he sang. I can share the pain of his family," said the premier.
