the face of the Queensland floods

The boy who lost his brother and mother in the devastating floods in Queensland, has been bashed by a mob of teenage boys.
Flood victim Blake Rice, 10 - who was saved when his brother Jordan insisted a rescuer take Blake first - is recovering from a broken collarbone after being attacked.
The thugs allegedly formed a page on Facebook called We Bashed Blake Rice, which has since been removed.
Blake's brother Jordan, 13, died along with his mother Donna Rice, 43, when their car was swept away on January 10 during flash flooding in Toowoomba.
The teenage attackers assaulted the boy because they recognised him from media reports, The Australian reports today.
Blake met with Prime Minister Julia Gillard this week, who was touring the devastated towns, with Ms Gillard describing the attack as a "low act".
