Allergy Season Sparks Alarm Among Americans

The scar of allergy is about to hit the turf of America. With the change in climatic milieu in the allergy season, a cohort of medical experts has sent alarming signals in the society.
Following the trend of last year, pollens are going to sweep the areas of America resulting in runny noses, itchy eyes and antihistamine-induced sleeps among the people.
Responding to the furore, Dr. William Burks, Professor and Chief of pediatric allergy and immunology at Duke University Medical Center, claimed that acerbic pollution in the air
can aggravate the existing concern of pollen allergy in this spring.
Moreover, the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America unveiled the list of cities in the United States which are highly affected with the spread of pollens after weighting three major factors which includes tree pollen prevalence, the number of allergy medications used by residents in the area and the number of allergy specialists in the area.
If statistics are to be believed, around 40 million Americans are predicted to get affected with the dire consequences of indoor/outdoor allergies.
Though personal habits play a key role in determining the extent of allergic impact, medical experts have recommended Americans to take precautionary measures to avert any potential harm.
