Actress hurt while doing stunt at Universal Studios Singapore

A stunt actress was hurt while performing at the Water World stunt show at the Universal Studios at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) on Saturday.

A RWS spokesperson said the performer dislocated her right knee while sliding down a pole, adding that it is not unusual for professional stunt actors to sustain such injury. 

The performer was treated at the Singapore General Hospital. 

The RWS spokesperson said the injury was sustained
when the show was ending. 

Subsequent shows were not cancelled.
