Rossi vows to keep goals flowing

In-form Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi is refusing to rest on his laurels, even though this season is already guaranteed to be his most prolific.
The 24-year-old became the Madrigal club's record goalscorer earlier this year, passing Diego Forlan, and last night added another to his tally in El Submarino Amarillo's 2-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League - a result which sealed a 5-3 aggregate victory in their last-16 tie.

Rossi has now netted 26 times in all competitions this term. That easily surpasses his previous best campaign, but the Italy international insists he is not finished yet.
"Goals are very important for the strikers," said the former Manchester United player, who has now scored in five successive games. "I'm happy, but I can't stop now because there are still two more months left of the season in which we are playing for a lot."Villarreal's win over Leverkusen moved them a step closer to their first major title, while in La Liga they are well-placed to finish in the UEFA Champions League places, currently lying in fourth spot, three points behind Valencia and eight in front of Espanyol ahead of this weekend's trip to Athletic Bilbao.
Rossi said of last night's success: "It was a very important victory against a big team like Bayer Leverkusen. We're all going away very happy and we're already thinking about Athletic.
"We are a team who like to play football. We did it very well and that's why we beat Bayer. Victories like that help boost confidence. Now is when we need to have our feet on the ground because the path is still very long."
