Senate Elections: Voting Starts In National Assemblies, Provincial

Senate elections Voting starts in national assemblies.Survey of 45 Seats in The National and Provincial Assemblies Began in 4 Sets here on Friday.

Sindh Provincial Election Commission has Made all Necessary Arrangements for Elections to the Senate in the Building of the Sindh Assembly to Elect 10 Senators From Sindh.

There are 12 Seats in Sindh including seven Generals, 2 reserved for women, 2 reserved for technocrats / ulema and a Seat Reserved For non-Muslims.

Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh PPP and MQM Farogh Nasim have been Elected unopposed in Seats of Technocrats.

There are Eight Candidates in the Campaign of Seven General seats, 3 for the 2 seats Reserved for Women and two candidates for the only reserved for minorities.

Three Candidates of the PML-L and Abdul Ghafar Qureshi (general), Yasmeen Farukh (women) and Dileep Photmal (non-Muslims) is at odds with the senatorial elections of Sindh.

In the KPK, 13 candidates are in the race for 7 seats overall, four candidates for 2 seats reserved for women, 6 for 2 seats reserved for ulema and Technocrats and the 2 are vying for a seat reserved for minorities .

In Balochistan, 19 candidates are vying for 7 Seats overall, 9 for the 2 seats reserved for women, the eight candidates for 2 seats for Ulema and Technocrats and are 5 Candidates in the Race for a Seat Reserved for minorities .

Polling will Continue uninterrupted from 09:00 am to 04:00 pm, Counting will be Done About it and The results will Be Announced By The Tellers.
