Indian cricketers enjoy greater brand value post World Cup win

Mumbai, April 9 : From accolades to cash, property and cars - team India's windfall just doesn't seem to end. Not just this, the brand value of theworld champions has also increased manifold after their cricket World Cup win over Sri Lanka.
"The recent victory as World Champions has definitely increased the brand value of the cricketers. They are winners - dependable, trustworthy, cool and 'Hero' status being some of the traits. Themarket value for key cricket stars will be up

‘Skype school’ brings knowledge to Indian village

The electricity keeps cutting out, the Internet connection is crackly and the speakers don’t always work, but Santosh Kumar knows that 20 pupils far away in eastern India are relying on him.
Once a week, Kumar uses the Skype computer programme to teach maths to children in Chamanpura, a poor village in the struggling state of Bihar, 600 miles from his two-storey house in the suburbs of New Delhi.
